What Telezi stores

Telezi AI is designed to work without an account. Projects, hooks, scripts, preferences, and recording metadata are saved locally on your device so the creator workflow is available offline.

If you enable optional iCloud Sync, the app mirrors a compact workspace snapshot so selected project and preference data can move between your devices. Raw video files and local file paths are not uploaded by the current sync design.

AI generation

When you use AI hook, script, analysis, or rewrite features, the relevant goal and content may be sent to the configured AI provider through the Telezi backend. The backend is designed to record small usage events for quotas and abuse prevention, not raw project content or video.

On-device or mock development modes may be available depending on the app build. AI generation may require a network connection when a hosted provider is used.

Recording, permissions, and deletion

The app asks for camera, microphone, or Photos access only when you choose a recording or save action. Turning off optional iCloud Sync leaves local data in place. You can delete or reset workspace data from the app’s data controls and can remove local recordings through the device’s normal file and Photos controls.

Meeting Assistant

Meeting audio capture starts only when you explicitly start listening. Transcription uses on-device speech recognition; raw meeting audio is not saved or uploaded. Listening pauses when the app enters the background. Obtain any consent required by local recording and transcription laws.

Meetings, transcripts, preparation, notes, suggestions, and follow-up drafts are stored locally and are excluded from workspace iCloud Sync. On Android, meeting records are stored outside Android cloud backup and device transfer. Cloud AI is optional and requires consent before selected meeting text and context are sent to the configured AI provider. The backend does not log meeting content; operational usage records contain quota events and a purchase-derived identifier used to enforce Pro limits.

You can permanently delete meetings or set automatic transcript deletion after 7, 30, or 90 days. Transcript retention removes live context caches while keeping saved notes, summaries, saved suggestions, and action items. You can disable cloud AI and automatic suggestions in Meeting Settings.
